Welcome to my Electronics Design page. This is the main reason I decided to build this website.

On this page you will find information about my Electronics Design hobby, and in particular my Electronics projects. I have designed quite a few projects in the past - some of which I've completed and some that I haven't. In the past I have been guilty of leaving countless projects unfinished to start another, and this is because I keep dreaming up new project ideas, which I get very excited about, and then end up switching my priority from the current project to the new one. The end result of all this has been that I've rarely managed to finish any of my projects!

With this in mind, I decided earlier in the year that I had to put a stop to this unproductive work-method. In order to ensure that I finish my projects, and have something to show for my efforts, I now limit myself to one project at a time - and I've become very religious about it! If I get a new idea, no matter how fantabulous it is, then it must wait until I've finished my current project before I can move on to it. In the meantime I keep a projects spreadsheet, which is a list of all the projects I want to tackle, and I assign each of them a priority. I allow myself to continually swap the priority of the projects on the spreadsheet, so that if I get new ideas that I think are really exciting and far more important than other projects on the list, I can bump them up to the top. But once I've started a project I will not engage in anything new until I've finished what I'm working on! This is the only way an Electronics hobbyist can realistically work, in my opinion.
